School-Based Mental Health Conference 2026

I have been a middle school counselor for 28 years, in 5 different schools. The majority of my work experience has been with challenging populations of students - lower SES, higher ExEd ratio, students with a higher rate of behavioral challenges and trauma exposure, including 6 years of working with a high EL population. I love what I do and especially like to see success with students - even if it's baby steps. I'm always open to learning new techniques, strategies, etc. to help me work smarter and make more of a positive impact with students.
