About me
Vashima Harris is a licensed clinical social worker with more than 25 years of experience in social work, including 20 years as a school social worker. She has a well-documented history of clinical experience across behavioral health, school social work, community-based clinical services, substance use treatment, residential services, and higher education. She is exceptionally experienced in program development, quality assurance, clinical supervision, trauma-informed care, treatment planning, and multidisciplinary leadership. She is a Certified Trauma Specialist, ASAM-certified, and holds a Nurturing Parenting certification. Vashima is a native of Richmond, Virginia, who enjoys being physically active and spending time with her husband, three children, and golden doodle, Baux.
