School-Based Mental Health Conference 2026
We are so excited to welcome our school-based mental health teams for the 26/27 school year!  All of our sessions are inspired by the Henrico CARES plan, a visionary initiative designed to create an enhanced system of mental health care that adapts to the evolving needs of HCPS’ students and families. By working together, we can create a seamless, adaptive network of care that addresses mental health needs at every age and stage honoring HCPS’ commitment to fostering inclusive, safe and supportive educational environments for all.

This session outlines key MTSS protocol and platform updates for the 2026–2027 school year, with a focused emphasis on clearly defined PBIS and Intervention Team roles, responsibilities, and processes. This is a review of expectations for tiered supports, team structures, referral and progress-monitoring procedures, and decision-making protocols that promote consistency and fidelity across schools.
